Duties and responsibilities
GoldFish Expert, a legal consulting firm based in Pattaya, is seeking ambitious professionals who are eager to advance their careers in the legal field. We invite candidates to join our team as a Legal Assistant or Junior Associate.
- Case Management:
Maintain and organize client case files, monitor deadlines and court schedules, ensure timely execution of tasks, manage legal documentation, enter data into legal case management software, and regularly follow up with responsible attorneys on case status. - Legal Process Support:
Provide end-to-end assistance throughout the legal process, including liaising with involved parties, scheduling depositions and meetings, drafting and dispatching subpoenas and legal notices, preparing complaints and motions, filing discovery requests, responding to opposing parties in writing, and generating case status reports. - Client Communication:
Maintain consistent communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases and any critical updates or procedural developments. - Financial Monitoring:
Track financial aspects of each case, including reconciliation of outstanding obligations with clients, attorneys, and service providers. - Pre-Trial and Negotiation Support:
Assist in trial preparation and negotiations by preparing case briefs, collecting and organizing supporting materials, proofreading and formatting procedural documents, and coordinating team efforts during the preparatory phase. - Courtroom Assistance:
Support litigation proceedings by organizing and indexing evidence, preparing exhibits and visual aids, coordinating witness presence and readiness, and taking structured notes during hearings. - Proactive Contribution:
Demonstrate a proactive mindset by seeking ways to improve work efficiency and deliver added value to the firm’s operations.
Candidate requirements
- Experience:
2–3 years of relevant work experience in a law firm or corporate legal department. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law from an accredited institution. - Professional Knowledge:
Solid understanding of Thai law, regulations, administrative and judicial procedures, and legal practice-especially in immigration and labor law, including work permits and visa processing. - Administrative Skills:
Proficiency in legal documentation, records management, database handling, legal formatting, document drafting, transcription, and other essential office procedures. - Language Proficiency:
Fluent in English (upper-intermediate level or above) and mandatory fluency in Thai. - Additional Skills:
Legal research abilities, client service orientation, high attention to detail, courtroom procedure knowledge, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple legal tasks simultaneously.
