Duties and responsibilities
GoldFish Expert is seeking motivated and skilled professionals to join our Taxation Department as a Tax Consultant. If you are looking to grow within a fast-developing legal consulting firm in Thailand, we welcome you to become part of our dynamic team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice on corporate taxation matters
- Developing international tax planning strategies
- Delivering services related to tax compliance and reporting
- Supporting and representing clients during tax audits and dispute resolutions
- Advising on transfer pricing regulations and documentation
- Providing tax support in M&A transactions and cross-border deals
- Reviewing and validating financial, accounting, and operational transactions
- Managing and supervising accounting, financial, and cost control processes
- Overseeing the company’s tax accounting and financial reporting
- Preparing consolidated financial statements and management reports
- Conducting financial and profitability analysis across business units
- Assessing product-level profitability and business margins
- Optimizing and standardizing accounting processes and internal controls
- Supporting the implementation and enhancement of Express accounting software
- Leading monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
- Applying knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
- Ensuring compliance with Thai tax legislation and BOI requirements
- Calculating payroll in accordance with Thai labor and tax laws
Candidate requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in taxation, including tax advisory and compliance; experience at a law firm or consulting firm is a strong advantage
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and strong commercial acumen
- Fluency in English (upper-intermediate or higher) and Thai is mandatory
- Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
- Strong analytical thinking, client-oriented approach, and ability to work independently and in a team
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience with legal billing systems is an advantage
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus
